Wall
Akin to a soldier
obliged to protect
mounted to brave the elements
hatred....indifference
injustice...war
that spawned from some malicious minds.
Stand firm...crumble not
suppress all evils that demolish your countenance
the happiness...the serenity ...the peace
that under your bosom found their refuge
so love and harmony can reign
within your limits

Lightning - Shut the Scream
Gaiety...
of emotions and words ...
some futile...
some meaningful...
broke the silence of one mediocre night...
the almost still air suddenly turned into a gentle wind...
blew so suddenly ..billowing the bored curtains then,
danced as words continue to fill the night...
cued heaven’s consent of the merrymaking...
as if allowing keen affection soar to the pinnacle.
Heaven might have noticed the bliss...
the taking over of the emotions ...
sent forth a blitzkrieg...
the dark almost blinding night...
was cut by the blaze of the furious lightning...
turning the drizzle to a wild downpour...
to silence the scream of the pounding hearts ...
to put the trance back to ...
reality.

The spark that once as red as wine
Has turned blue, the hue
that veils your every morning sky
the one that gives you a cue
and promises each day so don’t sigh
that Blue is grateful to you
and to the friendship so nice
and as beautiful as you.

With a purpose
In this beautiful but harsh world
We were born.
Came along was our first cry.
Cry of joy for the world’s beauty
Or cry of pain for uncertainty?
In the arms of the beloved
We were cradled to silence
And hummed to peaceful sleep
The first step
First taste of independence
Our first triumph
The first fall
First taste of bitterness
Our first defeat
Age of choice and decision
Armed with confidence and firm will
We trekked life’s direction.
Happy are those
To whom life was benevolent
They have what were deprived from others.
But no matter what direction, one chose
All will head to just one
To the final destination.
Where life will complete its circle
When the purpose is done
Sealed by a beloved’s cry.
